app download problem

hi there, ive only just received my orange sf. i still have the stock orange rom but the mobile has been unlocked.

i have tried downloading a few apps from the android market but they dont seem to work. They get stuck on 'Starting download...' and dont move naywhere from there.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening or some advice on how to solve the issue.

p.s. is it worth me downloading apps if im going to install a custom rom?

It should work with the original ROM.

Mine did the same thing with the Hungarian Hedgehog, now I'm on bladeVillain 1.1.0, and it works perfectly.

(except a little bug with the camera, it has to be installed from an other ROM)

If you don't want to void the warranty take it back to orange to reflashing.

If it's cool, then find the most suitable ROM for you, and let the android monster out B)

I have the same problem. It was working fine until yesterday. I deleted a few system apps yesterday including music and touchpal and it no longer downloads apps. Coincidence or have i bust it?
