Moving from the modaco to froyo rom?

Hey guys

Installed the modaco rom and created a ext partition to use apps2ext. However I see someones found a work around for the dialler now so I quite fancy giving the froyo rom a try. Having never used apps2ext before whats the best way to migrate from one to the other? titanium, repartition card, update, then restore?
