omnia i920: help

so the other day i was looking for the newer version of swype for my omnia i920. i found one on xda and installed it. after, it said that it needed to do a soft reset in order to complete the installment. when it turned off i waited for the phone to turn back on, a couple minutes went by and nothing. so i took out the battery and turned it on myself. all it did was show the omnia logo, the verizon startup after, then immediately went to a black screen. nothing works. thats all it does now.

if anyone has the even smallest idea of how to fix it i'll try it
