Guest BK2FUT Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 I've had Apps2SD running for a couple of weeks now, it's amazing, and it's fixed the one and only issue I've had with the phone. The weird thing I've noticed today is my internal memory is down from about 75mb (just after Apps2SD install - and after I'd installed a bunch of apps, I paid close attention at first) to about 42mb. Are there apps that use phone memory even when they're installed to the SD card? I've tried installing apps since noticing the drop, thinking that maybe Apps2SD had stopped working, but that's not the case. They install to the SD card fine, and don't swallow up any more internal memory. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how or why the internal mem. would have dropped 30mbs, even though all my apps, photos, music etc. go directly to my SD card? If it's not apps, how would I go about discovering what's eating up my internal mem? I have Astro file browser installed, I'm just not that sure what I'm looking for. Perhaps I should have paid closer attention over the last week, but since Apps2SD was working so perfectly, I got lazy, and stopped regularly querying it. Thank you for taking the time to read this, OT.

Someone may be able to give a more in depth explanation, but it's all good. Mine's at 61mb with a lot installed too. It's working, don't panic.

So long as I don't get down to 5mbs again like when I had 1.6 running... B)

What method did you use to install Apps2SD and partition your SD card? I've been trying to do this on my GT540 for a while now. Jacobkidd
Guest ASY9650 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 Now down to 18.5 mbs... That doesn't sound healthy after all... I've got a lot installed and I'm sitting on 72.45mb..... Hmm....don't think you have got it installed properly....
Guest Pagnchanak Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 For me, I got only 39mb and when I clear all the cache, I got 47mb. It keeps decreasing. I really wonder. I don't wanna format and reinstall everything, it's bothering..
