HTC IME Mod

Is there a working HTC IME Mod for us guys rocking a Froyo rom? I have come from a Desire and it's about the only thing i miss! The one posted by Paul doesn't work at all.

HTC keyboard needs a special version for Froyo.

It's not a flashable zip so easiest way to install would be to push the two apk files into /system/app/ using ADB or copy them into the zip and reflash. Angry Birds should work.. I'm sure I've had it working on Froyo. Will test it shortly.

Doesnt work for me, enable it in settings then long press on text input and change to HTC IME and no keyboard pops up.

Doh sorry for this thread. Turns out the standard non blade IME mod works!

What happens when you try to use it? Did you install the calibrator and the keyboard, and select it in language & keyboard options, and then set it as the input type on a text box?

Yes I did and i still cant manage to get it to work, it just force closes :P

I had the same issue. Then installed it with App Installer from the Android Market and it worked..

I still can't get the keyboard to pop up after installing. Any ideas?
