Ok so is this common?

I will use my steak for like 30 min of music, 100 texts, 30 min of calls, 20 of angry birds and an hour of internet browsing and my streak is dead...

Brightness at minimal but wifi is on alot and I use task killer when ever I can...

I know tbe streak is powerhouse but still like a total of 4hr usage ans its dead? Is that like normal? It will normally last me a total of 12 hours as I obviously dont use it in one go...

Anyway to improve this?

Stop using the task killer first. If it was such a necessity wouldn't google have included it in the os build? Your device will run better and battery life will improve. Wifi on and off drains battery more than just leaving it on. It drains more to turn the radio on and off than just leaving it on. Check your poll frequencies for programs to make sure they aren't constantly using your data connection. Also check your wifi and make sure it isn't constantly seeking new networks. If you use push email that will use barttery more as well. Check to make sure you aren't constantly jumping from edge to 3g. If so disable 3g so it isn't killing from network to network. Read link below for more info on task killers.

Everybody can talk about task killers whatever it wants! I like them! It all the programs you use are loaded at once the CPU will have to deal with all of them at once! I get 2 days of a charge! It is true that I have no more than 5 - 10 min of calls a day and I rarely use the WiFi (unlimited MBs per month) but still its 2 days B) I always have 200MB of RAM free and everything is smooth as silk!

No this is not true. If the program is loaded, and in the background not doing anything, then it does not use up CPU time and therefore does not use any battery.

If it's the type of program that needs to keep running (downloading for example), or keep waking up to check something, then fair enough. But most do not. (But then you woudn't want to kill it)

I've found that many people don't seem to use their phones very heavily, well those with 30 hours plus, I mean how much time are you using for web browsing then? Does everyone turn off the google account syncing etc and keep their brightness high?

I get 14 hours of moderate use. If I read a ton of articles screen always on from 100% to 0% in about 5.5 hours.

Here's how I think people might want to list their stats:

- Brightness? Mine is always all the way down.

- Gmail Sync'ing/Push? Mine is usually off

- Messaging Apps? (google voice, whatsapp, pingchat, kik, fring are what I have they all sync or push) others may have ebuddy, implus, palringo, gtalk etc.

- Email apps and syncing frequency? K9 every 2 hours

- Widgets that sync & their frequency? I don't have any but here are some (rss feed readers, engadget app, espn sportcenter, live scores, weather widgets etc)

- Wifi & Bluetooth? Mine are only on when I need um (home or in my car)

- Games? Believe it or not Angry birds stays on in the background I don't care what anyone says and it eats battery, you have to go back all the way unit it asks if you want to exit the game

- Live wallpapers? I don't have any

- What I call live apps? Executive assistant or maybe widget locker

- Task killers? I dont use um, they are constantly running and polling to kill apps (the OS also accomplishes this to some degree)

Oh I forgot I once got 25 hours of very light use but thats not the reason you have this device, you want to use it.
