Can't add accounts

I have a strange problem. The San Fran arrived last night. I quickly unlocked it (thanks to the pointers in here) and went to set up my exchange synch. The email app won't work because I have a non-orange SIM in - okay. So I went to Settings->Account Sync and went to add an account. But it will only let me add Google accounts - not exchange, pop, imap or anything else. I've set up a google account just in case it needed one but it still won't actually let me do anything useful.

The obvious answer, of course, is to flash a stock ROM and get rid of the Orange stuff but it still struck me as weird. Anyone come across this before? Am I just doing something daft?

Yes, I noticed the stock rom didn't have the "Coroporate" option, I have BladeVillion rom on at the moment and it is there. (I use Touchdown so have never used it).
