do we have a fix for the browser issue or is this something that dell have got to do?

i googled it (google is my friend) & it's a problem that a few android platforms have faced... ppl seem to have work-a-rounds that involve proxy config or dns

the problem intrigues me... & the dell build does seem a reasonable effort in terms of functionality (still the only build i've seen with native tethering functioning, along with both cameras, no browser / markets FCs)

but sadly the build is dog slow & you can't go anywhere on the internet, unless you're using your data package

which is super pants, as the USP for android is the flash compatibility, which works best over wifi

it may work, but that's not going to help something like

bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer from not working..

or the changing from insecure to secure logins being borked..

it feels to me like the dell testers dont even use the streak on a daily basis. you'd have to be an idiot to miss the redirect problems.

Too many versions are producting.

00 version is a miss. They feel very sorry.

I think dell will provide OTA upgrade later. (after thanksgiving vacation?)

As I know, O2 official froyo is ok.

O2's official line is one of "we're still waiting for Dell to supply 2.2 for internal testing"

i suspect this will do f all beacuse the problem is not the broswer (a lot of ppl don't get the issue on data)

I am facing redirects issue after upgrading to official Streak Froyo 315_00, now even getting in Modaco forum and many other websites, I get this problem:

"Data connectivity problem - The page contains too many server redirects"

I cannot access my own personal website on my phone (crazy) ...

...just tried the link you indicated but it points to "Streak_315_12332_00.pkg" (the one I used a few days ago to update my device, i imagine...), there's no
