How to import Google Mobile Service (GMS) into ZTE Android Phone, Put all the GMS apks in system/app would work or not?

For some reason, the model I mentioned does not come along with GMS, the only feature it keeps is sync contacts with gmail. but as I'm a big fan of google (I believe there are lot more out there in China, I see many in the forum: gfan.com). without the calendar sync, google map, etc. this phone just becomes soulless.

So my question will be: if I just copy all the google service apks (which are in the /system/app folder) and related jars ( /system/framework) along with the configuration (system/etc) and library (system/lib) from ZTE blade's stock rom and use all of these files to make a update.zip and flash my ZTE X876, can I get all the google services back ?

this question may sound dumb, but since I'm really a newbie to google's Andriod system architect, could anyone tell me is it viable or not. if viable, what else I need to do ?

wow, you double post your opening post, the you quote your original post and copy & paste your post AGAIN

Seriously unnecessary.

Go to the android market on your phone and get them :S

google maps & sync

If you want your apps back, re-download them. I don't know how you can't resolve your problems by just going on the market to download them....

WRONG

its the Chinese model the user is on about. i agree there was no need for triple post but it has nothing to do with that. the reason being that it doesn’t have google service is because google left china after the whole thing about government hacking and that.. but to the point of helping the user. best bet is paul as they made the chinese rom have Gapps. believe it is the build.prop file and then the framework requires google framework to be added.

look at the froyo build files. use the framework from there and see if you have any luck

so he has to use a foreign rom to access all the google stuff? then if he wants simplifies chinese apply a language pack?

from that page of the new zte blade in japanese, the translation says its got chinese, japanese, and english. does that mean that he could essentially use that ROM if it gets released?

no he has to add the google framework and the applications too. he can root and flash another rom on it but these phones are slightly different in specification i.e. they use tft screen rather then the one the s.f. uses and similar products to it. the Japanese one has a 5m.p camera and a few differences. unless you know what you're doing its not for you though is it to fiddle about.

i will give you an example. cyanogen mod things come with no google apps because google says its theirs etc..but someone makes a gapps file which can be flashed on top of cyanogen roms to add the ability for gapps. so similar to that

Yes, I know. I know how to install the app import to the Android 2.1.

But It's not normally work with Syn the Account thought the Internet. And also it's not work for logging in to the Gmail Account at the same time.

Should any place doesn't work correctly??

Any one know how to manually import the correct file to the Android 2.1 inside??

Thanks
