WIFI awful !

Hi Guys,

Loving the blade so far APART from the WIFI ! Seems this is a known issue, but are there any fixes yet ?

I have clockwork mod and Android 2.1 ROM from this site... not sure which though ! (but I do know the camera sound file to silence the shutter doesnt work on it ! :P )

Is there any advantage to installing a 2.2 ROM to get better wifi ? Its driving me nuts... it connects and get most of a webpage, or when browsing the market it waits and waits... the times out, but press RETRY and its back !... very frustrating.

Look in Settings > About Phone > Status and it will tell you. Also, when you reboot you should see which ROM you have.

Furthermore there are already loads of topics on the Wifi, so use the Search option.

Thanks for the reply... found the info at the bottom of the ABOUT PHONE menu !

Modaco custom ROM for the orange san francisco r3 (OUK_P729BV1.0.0B05)

I have searched and find it all SOOOO overwhelming, so thought Id ask !

Ive only had my SF for a few days but I have experience to many issues with WIFI(Touch wood).
