Guest Frankish Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) Here is a port of the HTC HD/Z theme Slate. For Froyo roms only for now. Includes wallpaper, framework and a dock to use with Launcher Pro. The dock will appear low quality but this is LP's fault. The image is fine! Warning: Do not flash the initial .zip archive. Extract that to obtain the theme files. Download me here Edited November 26, 2010 by Frankish
Guest Bob@Desire Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Are you planning a 2.1 version. (hoping :P)
Guest oh!dougal Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Give it a couple of weeks and we'll all be on 2.2 ... :P
Guest Niks10 Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Sorry I am a noobie, don't know how to install this? I am FLB 2.2 ROM Many thanks.
Guest weba Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Nice so far but more screenshots needed. I've been so close to downloading themes just to find some deal-breaker in the notifications pull-down and/or other stuff...
Guest oh!dougal Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) Sorry I am a noobie, don't know how to install this? I am FLB 2.2 ROM Many thanks. It seems to be a 5mb :P zip file. I'd expect it to be flashed in (over 2.2, thereby 'patching' it) by Clockwork. Edited November 26, 2010 by oh!dougal

I flashed using clockwork it said file installed. then reboot my phone nothing seems to have happened. Do I need to choose this theme from any settings?
Guest Frankish Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 The zip contains the files and a readme. Will maybe put more screens up but not much more to see!

It just proves the old saying, "To assume risks making an ass out of u and me."

Guest doran1801 Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 same here, i flashed it but did not get any changed icons
Guest Frankish Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Did you guys extract the first zip file? It is a zip containing the theme files. Some need to be copied to sd card and there is a theme .zip to flash... There is a readme in there! Maybe i should have made the first archive a .rar :P
Guest 5ubtil Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Probably a dumb question... sorry in advance. How do I revert to the standard theme after I've flashed one of these themes?
Guest Aranathos Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 The notification bar looks great, as you say the the dock background looks horrible (fault of LauncherPro).
Guest Frankish Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 Yeah i wish the dev would do something to fix it...don't even know of any other launcher that supports custom docks and shortcuts in the same way though.
Guest Ash.UK Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 Hi, would the OP please include a step by step guide on how to install this? thanks, Ash
Guest Frankish Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Not much too it. Extract first .zip. Place files on sdcard. Using clockwork, flash the DesireSLATEfinal.zip. Set wallpaper as normal. For the dock you need to be using Launcher pro and under appearance set the image as dock background and set a blank png as the icon image.
Guest 5ubtil Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 No problem installing... but how do I remove it. Thanks
Guest Hedja Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) Could OP kindly upload more screenshots of the app drawer, notification drop down, menus etc... No problem installing... but how do I remove it. Thanks Like everything else you flash, you need to flash it back on top with a stock theme or the entire ROM. Edited November 28, 2010 by Hedja
