[THEME] HTC Slate Desire HD/Z

Here is a port of the HTC HD/Z theme Slate. For Froyo roms only for now. Includes wallpaper, framework and a dock to use with Launcher Pro. The dock will appear low quality but this is LP's fault. The image is fine!

Warning: Do not flash the initial .zip archive. Extract that to obtain the theme files.

It seems to be a 5mb :P zip file.

I'd expect it to be flashed in (over 2.2, thereby 'patching' it) by Clockwork.

I flashed using clockwork it said file installed.

then reboot my phone nothing seems to have happened.

Do I need to choose this theme from any settings?

I'm not on 2.2 (not quite yet, soon!) so didn't download the zip, let alone peek inside it.

It just proves the old saying, "To assume risks making an ass out of u and me."

Did you guys extract the first zip file? It is a zip containing the theme files. Some need to be copied to sd card and there is a theme .zip to flash...

There is a readme in there! Maybe i should have made the first archive a .rar :P

How do I revert to the standard theme after I've flashed one of these themes?

The notification bar looks great, as you say the the dock background looks horrible (fault of LauncherPro).

Yeah i wish the dev would do something to fix it...don't even know of any other launcher that supports custom docks and shortcuts in the same way though.

Not much too it.

Extract first .zip.

Place files on sdcard.

Using clockwork, flash the DesireSLATEfinal.zip.

Set wallpaper as normal.

For the dock you need to be using Launcher pro and under appearance set the image as dock background and set a blank png as the icon image.

Like everything else you flash, you need to flash it back on top with a stock theme or the entire ROM.
