Guest rayraven Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Hi, Welcome to the forums. You need to configure the apn to send mms & to browse through 3G. Search the forums, the apn are posted in threads. Also, i'd suggest to Root, get rid of the Orange apps & Up the VM Heap to 32MB. Really, smooths things from the stock rom. If you're really adventurous, you can try one of the beta froyo roms. A few minor niggles aside, it's very stable & very smooth. Cheers.

Thanks in aadvance for any replys, steve Use the forum search to see if anyone has had this question before Try searching for 02 APN By the time you get to the bottom of page one of the results, you might begin to understand why people on here get frustrated by newcomers starting new threads about their obviously personal and unique problem. If it wasn't for all those other threads, the main thread listing APNs for all the UK networks might be on page one of the search results ... :P

Guest rayraven Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Sorry, cant help you with the settings for O2, use t-mobile myself. For information about the Blade and how to root etc, read the wiki, It's pretty detailed. http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/ZTE_Blade
Guest triobot Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) hi thanks for the reply, ive tried the apn still no joy, as for rooting im 110% android noob some of the jargon in the guides may aswell be in hebrew i think i'll try a local phone place to see if they can do it. Sure someone in this whole forum could help you. It takes some time to get use to terms ( like learning anything new ) but i'm sure if you go look at most threads ( or google some words ) you could find out what words mean... e.g. Rooting = getting Super User access there is http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Category:Glossary but imo needs updating due to the amount of traffic this forum gets (googling ZTE Blade takes me here) including newbie guide for android wouldn't be bad. I've only looked into the android scene after seeing the san fran on hukd. Edited November 26, 2010 by triobot
