touch screenn not working

Hi guys, any of you gotthis problem.

Touch screen is all over the place and half times doesn'tb work.

I've installed R4 rom and the phone is virtually useless.

ANy ideas

a few of us have had issues with unresponsive touchscreen on the 2.2 roms. it appears to be less frequent on the flb r3a 2.2 rom.

if you want outright stability/reliability, then go for one of the cooked 2.1 roms imo.

Come on, there are plenty of topics and stickies on the different roms. Quite impatient already asking again after 25 minutes? See the Hedgehog or Sebastian404' ROMs.

However, since you are already using a 2.1 ROM, you may have a faulty phone.

You, my friend, should look at the stickies and the topics and the search function. You might find your problems are quicker resolved as a result.

Due to the low prince this phone attracts many beginners, who don't even read the stickies and topics and just post a question. The fact that something is named a kitchen and a cooked rom doesn't mean it is a take-away restaurant or helpdesk.

Why don't you start by testing some other ROMS (BladeVillain, Hungarian Hedgehog, Sebastaian404's ROMs) and see whether the problem returns. Also, reflash Modaco R4 or restore a backup. All things you can and should really test before posting :P

Get it exchanged, it's faulty. One of mine had the problem with the touchscreen - it makes it's really obvious if you use something like Mulitouch Visualizer 2
