Calendar Widget recommendation

Hi Folks,

Got my San Fran yesterday and it's great. I bought it as a non-committal effort to see if I liked Android handsets. I'm seriously tempted now.

Anyway, I'm looking for a widget recommendation ... to display my calendar on one of the homescreens.

I'd like it to be dark in colour, not too garish like the LAIK one I'm using at the moment.

Display say the next week's worth of appointments and meetings etc.

Clickable to go to an item.

Cheers

Try Gemini, that sounds like the one you need ?

I'm going to have to recommend Jorte. It can sync with Google Calender and the theme is completely customisable. I've been using it since day 1. A huge range of widget options too!

Not really what you need but I like Smooth Calendar - simple does the job and does not require 100's of unneeded permissions.

Just done a bit of searching (actually from the top 5 calendar apps link mentioned in the URL above) and the following looks promising and may require further investigation (Android Agenda Widget):

Cheers all, Giving Android Agenda (Above) a go. Looks to be what I was after. Might need some customising though.

I tried a couple of the ones recommended above but in the end I went with Jorte.

The thing that swung is the number/variation of widgets you can have and the customisation. I have a small weekly 4x1 strip at the top and a separate 4x2 monthly agenda so I can see whats coming up in the week ahead and any events in the month. I'll try and post a screen cap later

the paid version of launcherpro plus looks great, using that too

I prefer the Calendar widget built in to Launcher Pro

+ 1 for the LP+ calendar and agenda-tabbed widget. I love it too ^^

In the mood of switching to ADW.Launcher, I use S2 Calendar Widget and customise it to be semi-transparent along with Android Agenda widget.

Thanks for all recommendations guys. I might try some other apps when I'm bored with the current ones.

EDIT: I love a scrollable feature of Android Agenda widget very much. I'm not sure if other apps apart from LP+ are scrollable. Anyone knows this??

Cheers,

+1 again! The LP widget is perfect. And you can resize it to fill the whole screen with LP.
