ROM Flash - You tube video

Hi all,

I got my Blade yesterday so have been busy playing with it (it's my first android phone)

I'm really keen to flash it to a froyo ROM and just get a bit more snappier performance out of it. I've read several instructions and threads and have some great guidelines to follow. However, i get quite impatient when doing things like this and immediately think that the world is going to end if something doesn't seem to appear right.

What i was hoping for was a You tube video of someone flashing the phone.

Does one exist? If not, does anyone have the time and effort to do one? (including installing the clockwork recovery mod and then the actual flashing of the phone?) - i would REALLY appreciate it.

Dont think there's such a video.

Dont worry, installing clockwork is very easy. You can even do it from within the phone, if you are uncomfortable to connect it to a pc.

It only takes a few seconds, and once it's installed you can [and probably should] take a full backup so you restore incase something goes wrong.

The froyo rom took like ~3 minutes to install and about 3 more for the initial boot.

But, i do agree such a video would be nice for the beginners.
