7 vibrates on power off

hey guys,

I've got an orange rooted desire running stock 2.2.

every few days I get constant errors when sending texts, and when turning the phone off it gives me 7 short pulse vibrations then refuses to turn back on via the power button until I've removed the battery.

does anyone have any ideas?

is the 7 vibrates some kind of error code?

Im sure this didnt used to happen for the first few months using stock rom.

Are you using the stock messaging app? Because i am using chompsms an get problems sending texts usually regular problems

yup, just the stock messageing app, although spc does run in the background for blocking spam etc..
