Deleting gmail accounts - how to?

Hi I have two gmail accounts associated with my Vega but I'm unable to delete one of them, does anyone know how this is possible?

From Settings > 'Accounts & sync settings' I'm told that I have to do a factory reset from Settings > 'Privacy' but there is no privacy option there so how do I factory reset?

Settings>accounts & sync

Select the Google account you want to remove, and on the next page, there is a button at the bottom that says "remove account"

Edit. As fast as I know, settings>software tool>erase all content and settings, should be a factory reset *shrug*

Yeah, after clicking 'remove account' I'm told that I have to do the factory reset.

Tried software tool > erase all contents and settings, but that didn't work either.

Anybody know how to solve this problem?

I bought my Vega off a mate who wasn't getting on with it.

I now can't delete his Gmail account and the market wants to use his account for payments. Tried factory reset but his account is still there.

I am running corvus5 and its all working really well so I don't really want to start again from scratch by flashing it again.

Any ideas?
