Please can someone give me the skinny on how to update to DJ Steve Froyo v1.4.6

I am currently on US ATT Dell locked 1.6v6601 bb1231

I am pretty sure I need to go to O2 1.6v4399

Now this is where I get lost...do I need to go to Eclair2.1v8105--->Dj steves 1.1.1--->1.4.6....Does it need the incremental update?

I think I have most files needed but need correct pathway from Dellus1.6 to Dj steves latest Froyo

You have it right except you can skip 1.1.1. Unless your streak is white then it cant be upgraded the conventional way.

Ok was able to get to 8105....but I cant get nandroid/Clockworkmod recovery to work....it worked before 2.1update

I read somewhere that 2.1 overwrites custom recovery with stock 2.1...I cant get passed this to update via nandroid/update.zip file....ARGH almost there.

Please can someone help get passed this....

Try to search.. There is clockwork alternate method and even older version of clockwork 1.8 if 2.5 doesn't work
