GMail Stuck on Sending

This problem is very frustrateing because i purchase internet phone and data plan for this emailing reasons.

but when i am sending a email from the gmail app it says in red writing 'Sending...'

I try reboot but this is not fix problem.

also phone getting hot and battery dying.

i do reflash of ROM and everything is fine, send few emails, phone is normal...until it happen again.

this happening on modaco r4 ROM, flb-Lite, flb-normal.

i hate to reflash phone everytime i send email.

i encountered gmail being stuck on sending when i was using modaco r4 and it was resolved by refreshing gmail. since moving to flb froyo lite gmail sends the email 1st time now. just hit refresh and it'll complete the sending

I have just had a similar issue.

Going into settings > Applications > Manage Applications and then clearing the data of Gmail storage and then waiting for my phone to resync sorted it for me.

Thanks for the info. I just had the same problem, and your solution fixed it.
