"Infrastructure Mode" Wifi Hotspot

I need my Hero to be a proper hotspot rather than an Ad-Hoc one.

Can anyone help me with this please?

i'm not really sure if this is the right answer to your question but isn't wifi tether making your phone a hotspot?

He means that WiFi Tether doesnt actually implement a proper Infrastructure Mode hotspot.. its actually somewhere between infrastructire and ad-hoc, as some devices see it as one and others as the other..

It is annoying, but ive not found anything that does it right yet.
