A little knowledge is dangerous

Hi Folks

I have managed to unlock and root my new orange san francisco. I managed somehow to put on a custom ROM 2.1 and clockwork recovery.

I wanted to increase the size of SD card and upgrade to Froyo 2.2.

I've downloaded 2.2 opened phone in recovery mode after copying the zip file to the new SD card, followed instructions to instal froyo 2.2, rebooted and now i'm stuck on a ZTC screen!!

Any idea's where i went wrong. I'm totally confused now. How do I recover back to 2.1

so i guess running factory reset and clearing cache before loading new Rom WAS a good idea!!

I think that sorted it. Time to play again. Phew!!
