Dell Streak Repair Centre?

I dropped my Srreak on the pavement and now a corner of the Gorillas Glass is shattered and the case is damaged.

The Streak is still functioning but I want to get it repaired. My insurance will probably pay for it but ofcourse they want to know the repair costs.

I bought it from eBay in Germany and the device came originally from a German MediaMarkt.

In the Netherlands Dell doesn't sell the Streak so they don't support it.

Databyte, a Dutch electronics chain, does sell it but won't tell me where they would have the Streak repaired because I didn't buy it from them.

So I am kinda at a loss where to get it repaired with a quick turnaround time.

I know I'm gonna have to pay for the repair but I need to find out where to get it done!

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks, I contacted them but they don't repair the Streak.

Even worse, my LCD screen broke today so I can't use the Streak anymore. Time to get a new one I guess.

I don't know WHAT center repairs them, but I can assure you it takes abotu 2 months from my experience ;)

you're better off selling the streak than repairing it. the lcd screen + digitizer costs 150 Euros on ebay germany.

Streak LCD with touch panel(assembled with each other) is around 520-650RMB in Tao bao(something like China eBay).

i saw a streak on american ebay with cracked glass sell for $300 two weeks ago. the crack was pretty major as it went through the middle of the screen too.

Dell offered Streak at $3XX in thanks giving promotion.

A new one with AT&T SIM Lock.
