This was developed by RyanZA at XDA Is it safe? theoretically 100%. I`ve been using this since 2.1 release from SE without any issues. Would i loose my warranty? No. With new version you`re able to unroot your X10 with a single touch Were can i download tis app? go to market and search for "z4root"

Stuart sorry for late response;) That app no longuer at market. I don`t know witch version you have but you can download this attach. z4root.rar Yet if you have latest firmware this no longuer root your phone. If you have any issues with that, go HERE read a little (at least you learn more LOL) and follow the instructions. Hope this help ;)
