Excess notifications

I am using handcent SMS and every time i get a sms it opens up first in hancent then in the normal messaging program. I have tried stopping the original program completley, also have put it in the bin but still this happens. Also i always get the missed call notification even if i call back the person who called me.

Hi

In putting the app in the bin, all you've done is hidden the icon - the app's still there

While you may have stopped the program some other way, whenever you get a new message, it is restarted at present

Using Titanium Backup, go to the backup/restore option, and delete Messaging 2.2

Any further texts will be picked up by your new sms tool (i like chompsms btw)

not sure about the missed call notifications
