Guest Donkey Oaty Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Today I noticed I have quite a bit of dust behind the screen in the bottom right hand corner. Does anybody else have this problem? It is a major bugbear of mine and I'm concerned that it may damage the touch senitive bit. Is it easy to remove the glass to clean away the dust or is it a matter of returning the phone? This is my second phone the first one had a faulty power switch after 2 weeks, this replacement is also 2 weeks old.
Guest Frankish Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Same problem as most HTC Desires then...Mine had this and i learned to live with it due to not being visible with screen on.
Guest Magnets Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 I have a small fibre under the middle of my screen, can only really see it if you are in bright light.
Guest jarno3 Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 I have also some dust under the screen in bottom rigth corner. It doesn't matter so much as it's visible only when screen is off :P
Guest Donkey Oaty Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 The amount of dust behind my screen has increased and spread across most of the screen. It ruins the look of the screen. I've contacted the shop for a return but they currently don't have stock. Maybe tomorrow. I've changed the rom using clockwork to Froyo, obviously I'll swap it back to the stock rom but do you think I need to remove clockwork and if so how?

Guest Azurren Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) If dust can get behind then moisture can as well OLED + Any ammount of water vapour = Organic decay, rot and mould. Not so extreme with LCD but is still very annoying Edited December 17, 2010 by Azurren
