U8230 stock rom

Hello,

After having installed a bunch of apps onto my Huawei U8230 (I got one from the Austrian provider A1), I would like to reinstall the stock rom. One main argument for doing this, is that the Canvas always crashes when I try to add widgets.

However, I cannot find a stock rom of the phone. Where can I get one?

Here are 2 links to Mobilkom Austria stock firmware on the Huawei website. (I'm guessing Mobilkom and A1 are the same but I have no idea).

U8230 V100R001C100B214 - this is most likely Android 1.5

U8230 V100R001C100B820 - probably Android 2.1

Check Settings>About Phone>Build Number to confirm your build number matches those listed above.

Note: Installing either will factory-reset your phone and all sms messages, contacts, etc will be erased.

U8230 V100R001C75B828 (Portugal TMN) <-- here is the 2.1 version should you want it.

How do you find these files? I can't locate them on Huawei's U8230 page...

Why do you want to re-install the stock ROM?

to send the warranty because noise in sound.

I have root, FLB and Clockwork Recover.
