Guest spanner44 Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 For some reason, When I install CM6, through whichever way, (Twocks guide or AIO version), it never mounts my SD card, not seeing my Ext Partition, and thus not being able to transfer files to the SD card. It just says that it can see the partition but it is not mounted. I know it isn't the memory card as this is a new one that I have formatted under Gparted and created a Fat32, Ext2 and swap partition. What is even stranger is that when I run either FLB or JLB roms with the apps2sd built into the Rom, it works fine. Has anyone got any idea how I can fix this and mount the Ext Partition of the SD card, either through the terminal or by a zip, (I am no good at Adb yet) Hope someone can help, thanks in advance.
Guest happybaoby Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 i got the same question and can't fix it too. when i run a2sd cachesd it always said can't rename something{ too quick to remember...} and reboot
Guest peelie Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) richard arkless rom (from toms 0.3) works for a2sd, that is you can run it and move dalvik cache to sd, however new apps don't get installed on sd for that you can use the froyo a2sdext: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/2636-fr...4386#entry24386 Edited December 2, 2010 by peelie
Guest kristijan_mk Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 I don't know is this is even relevant, but maybe it will help :P when you were partitioning the card are all partitions (FAT32, ext2) set as primary? When i first partitioned my card had the same problem, but ext2 was set as logical, so i repartitioned as primary and now it works
