I can't boot into Clockworkmod, it gets stuck in a reboot cycle. The "android" text shows up in cm then immediately reboots, and so on.

Anyone had the same issue?

Try using fastboot again to re-flash. Actually, don't flash the latest version, use the previous one (2.5.0.9?), since there's a known issue with the latest one.

Which bit doesn't work? And what model phone do you have? (Seems like the V880 doesn't like ClockwordMod.)

you could flash back to stock then re root the phone.

I'd rather verify the recovery partition, is there a way to dump it?

Yeah, using ClockworkMod. ... .... :P

You should be able to "dd" it if you have adb access (or equivalent) and the phone still boots and runs.
