lol give sagar a break, he is still a great guy! :unsure: I am patiently waiting for tomorrow to see if they will get my code or not, I highly doubt I will actually get the code tomorrow, but will see, if I do, I will be a happy happy streaker B)

i bet you've been calling him sugar, thats why he's nice to you lol

I got a positive answer from Sagar on the 21st.

Yesterday I send him another e-mail , just to check up on him .

Thanks for your email. I'm sorry you haven't received your unlatching code yet and for the delay in getting back to you.

Unfortunately, we're having trouble getting the codes for Dell Streak devices at the moment but we'll keep requesting the code you need. I'm afraid I can't tell you how long this will take, but as soon as we have the code you need we'll let you know.

If there's anything else we can do for you just drop us an email. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

I sent a follow-up email yesterday and received a reply from Sagar a couple of hours ago saying that there was a delay in getting codes for the Streak from Dell and that the requests have been escalated. Time to keep our fingers crossed!!

YES, IT IS TRUE.....SAGAR HAD JUST SENT ME THE 8 DIGIT UNLOCK CODE BY EMAIL. I PUT ANOTHER SIM INTO IT WHICH PROMPTED FOR THE CODE AND I USED THE CODE PROVIDED, THE STREAK WAS UNLOCKED.....THANKS O2 AND THANKS TO PEOPLE WHO STARTED SPREADING THE NEWS....:-)

I filled in the online Unlock Request 3 days ago and have just received my code via email from Sagar. Entered code and i'm free to sim hop....YAY :angry: B)

Edit due to phone call FROM O2 about my Package & Streak....

O2 have now said that the Dell Streak is no longer classed as an O2 Exclusive handset/Tablet so their in the process of Requesting the codes or Code Generator from Dell for ALL of the Streaks allocated to O2. Customer Service girl said it may take up to 7 days to receive and process all the requests to date, then O2 will supply on request or receipt of online form.

Happy days (happy because i finally spoke to someone who actually knows whats happening) (& NO, i didn't go for the free iPhone 4 on a 3 year tie-in @ £15month...3 years stuck with a feature limited handset....i'd rather swap my boll**ks for ikea meatballs...Nice girl though)

I'm had send a mail to mycare, after the first day I got reply can unlock about 28 day.

But I'm live in Vietnam and here do not use O2 network!!!

So, with the following information I can't, who can help me a number of information:

....

- your O2 Pay & Go mobile number

- two frequently dialled numbers

- last four digits of credit/debit card

- last Top-Up amount, date and method

- current credit balance (dial *#10# to find).

....

WOW, i emailed O2 some time ago, well before christmas, and got no answer apart from the automated response. This morning, randomly i got my unlock code. It worked fine and ive tried a variety of SIMs. All work fine.

First thing to do is contact your carrier's customer care centre and request the code direct. If they ask why you need one, tell them you travel a lot and don't wish to pay extortionate Roaming charges. Tell them you travel to the UK a lot and use another phone for UK sim cards.

If your not on the O2 network, then O2's codes probably won't work as it's an Algorythm that uses IMIE & Mobile No. to generate the code.

Is your Streak originally from O2??

May help others if the lock codes are the same, they all start with 02.

I got my code from Sagar this morning as well.

It does NOT end in 525 (but it does begin with 02).

i think the 1st 3 digits are always 028, thats what mine was. i might be wrong.
