I have a lot to learn about how you people perform back ups.

But just for now wondered if there were a simple way to just back up a few notes I had taken and stored on the phone. Bear in mind I have wifi and bluetooth and USB. SIM is not yet active.

You could try the Springpad app. I saw it recommended yesterday, and have found it a useful way of syncing notes between browser on laptop and app on Blade. All cloud based though, so no web connection; no notes.

I have the free (from Market) apps ColorNote and Bluetooth File Transfer.

In ColorNote, one of the Menu options is Share.

And Bluetooth File Transfer shows up as one of the possible ways of 'sharing'.

cool thanks guys. Also I worked out another slow brute force crude way. Copy all and paste (into Yahoo notes on the web or something like that)

Dropbox is available for android. If you are unsure what it is, watch this short video on the main page. It's by far the best app on my PC and phone - http://dropbox.com. All you have to do is find an app that saves notes in a txt format (I'm sure there are plenty) and then add the txt files to the dropbox app.

THanks beggin. Yeah i got dropbox for my Mac here. Don't use it a lot, but I was wondering if it was available on Android too
