Guest slimmshady Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Hi, I just got my san fransisco and decided to install froyo custom rom. I followed the tutorial on this forum using fastloader and there was an error on cmd prompt and now it keeps rebooting in a loop. I was stuck on the green android man screen after the error so i removed the battery and that is when the problem started. I didn't install the usb drivers and hence my pc couldn't recognise the phone. Any help? Thanks

Just like a few others members on this forum, I have successfully installed the neccary files in order to install the custom rom (I followed paul's tutorial perfectly). However, something must have happened when I restarted my phone to install the final stages of the rom and now the phone is stuck on the green android man. I have however, managed to boot into clockwork's recovery mode so I was wondering whether someone could guide me from this stage. I can press the volume down button and the power button to boot into the clockwork mode. I have tried to flash the phone will the new modaco image by renaming it into update.zip, however the procedure failed and I'm still stuck on the green android man. Please could anyone help me. I'm really desperate.

Mine stays there for about 2 minutes on the first boot. Anyway, if it's still not working, turn on your phone whilst holding the up button. The green android will remain on the screen still. Now, connect your phone to your PC and follow this USB driver guide - http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...rivers-and-adb/ and make sure everything is good in the Windows device manager. After you have done that, follow paul's guide again to flash your phone etc but instead of using Clockwork 2.5.1.3, use the older version 2.5.0.9. You can download it here - http://loadbalancing.modaco.com/download.p...co-r2-blade.img Then try the ROM you want to install again. There is no need to rename it or anything, just make sure it's in the root of the sd card. Edited December 3, 2010 by Guest
