This product is very interesting;

It is customisable and people can develop their own plugins such as a fitness monitor.

Can anyone confirm that this does or definitely doesn't work on the San Fran?

It is reported to work with any 2.0+ Android device, i.e. the Samsung Galaxy S and the HTC Desire so I would imagine it would work for us.

OK,

Engadget wrote up a pretty lacklustre review. They summarised as "good idea, bad implementation".

Is there anything similar to this that would be even more minimalist like a wristband?

Yea I saw those but I don't want a watch, a thin bracelet would suffice.

I can confirm it works with ZTE blade , I'm use Jellyfish RSL9 firmware , and with the new Liveview firmware update and apps.
