I have connected my phone with usb in malez recovery mode, usb mass mode toggle. Using gparted I removed the ext2 and the swap partition. Save, toggle back usb mass storage mode. Reboot the phone.

Maybe someone who has ported miui to liquid can tell us if we can use the script "/system/xbin/a2sd" present in the rom (for app2sd) and how we can enable swap in this rom (swap support il present in kernel). Ramzswap is compiled in this kernel?

you could check your logcat and see if there is something like this

E/Vold ( 60): ASEC file '/mnt/secure/asec/smdl2tmp1.asec' currently exists

- destroy it first! (Address already in use)

If that is the case you can:

Backup your apps somewhere safe and then try running this in terminal on your phone,

su

rm /mnt/secure/asec/smdl2tmp1.asec

or through adb.

adb remount

adb shell

su

rm /mnt/secure/asec/smdl2tmp1.asec

Then try install using titaniumbackup again

You can find on miui site or download from the market miui in the rom.

For picasa try to delete gallery with root explorer and replace with that one of lcr.

For the search install a language pack in first page.

I dont' understand, there is no market miui or miui market in my liquid . Is that an extra app? I only have the normal android market. And I don't find a "network disk" download on the miui site (maybe due to my lack of chinese language knowledge :( ) What does this network disk do?

But even without it, miui gallery is working now (after installing the sensors patch plus theme fixer). The nly issue I have now: when I use the Suave HD theme the three symbols on the lockscreen are not visible anymore, there's just the plain clock time and nothing else.

Because you have installed on a language pack with another keyboard, flash gingerbread keyboard on again.

-Is there a way to fix the ultra-fast blinking of the notification icons?

Hi Mark, I've already the acer driver. I use it to upload the file on the Liquid.

It requests a driver for ethernet card or something similar

I have managed to install this rom, and it's the best i've had.

But theme's aren't working. I Download them, install but nothing happen's. The theme remains the original.

Anyone has the same problem?

Will do, thanks (tho I prefer HTC_IME, so I'm using that now)

Any clues as to my other two questions? Apart from those two little nuances this rom kicks ass... really great!

EDIT: ops, didn't see Mark's post... ok mate, thanks, hope you guys manage to fix those (fast-blinking of notification icon is the most annoyin imo...)
