My SF is stealing my USB and internet connection.

Hi folks, first post here as I have been lurking for a few weeks reading and then recently signing up....

Awesome resource and as my first dip into the Android community I'm learning loads....though clearly not enough....

Anyway....

I am experiencing a strange problem with my SF - for some reason whenever I plug it in to my PC it's disconnecting my wireless internet connection and tethering itself.

I did try and install the ADB drivers a few days ago as the exclamations in device manager were annoying, I managed to get the ADB Android enabled but the other entry refused a driver. Anyway in case this was the cause of my problem I have rolled back my Win7 to a restore point well before that date and both the 'ZTE HSUSB' entrys in device manager is showing as uninstalled - pretty much like it always used to.

Something is still connecting the phone though and as soon as I USB connect it a 'Teredo Tunneling interface' shows up in ipconfig and my PC's wireless shuts down.

If I enable wireless or data on my handset it gives me a browser on the PC, though painfully slow (I Guess because its going through the cell network)

Pulling out my USB wifi dongle and putting it back in just tells me 'device not recognised' and even a standard memory stick is not recognised - it's like it steals my USB - how rude!

It's not until I disconnect the phone and then reinsert the wifi dongle that I get my wifi back, along with any memory sticks.

Any idea if this is a setting on the phone i can change or a driver/setting issue on my win7 box?

All Help greatly received.

Simon
