Stuck At Logo. Please Help. White US AT&T from Best Buy

I attempted to update my newly bought phone to 2.2 by following the instructions here: http://www.streaksmart.com/2010/11/how-to-...ell-streak.html but it seems those steps won't work for a stock 1.6 locked phone.

Can I get some help restoring to the stock recovery image and rom?

I can't seem to find these files through google. Since following the above steps, the only other thing I have done is a factory reset. I just bought this phone, I'd really like to get it working again.

Alternatively, I would run Dj Steve's rom if someone could get that going with me. I really wanted to try out the Stage UI though.

Thanks for the reply. I followed the steps to use the QDL tool but I keep getting:

Run HEX success

ERROR[D14]: Streaming hello Failed!

ERROR: Download fail!

Please remove the battery and try again.

I believe that means there is a driver that is not propely installed on your comp.

Thanks for the reply. I am really trying everything I can find but I feel like the QDL tool is what I need.

I have reinstalled the drivers and verified my steps against a couple guides but it still fails at the same spot. I am so stuck. Any help is appreciated.

I am stuck as well on installing the qualcoom drivers. I see the qualcoom cdma device but the drivers won't get installed by windows

What windows are you on? You have to install the Testcertificate first. You can find it in \Driver\Driver_2.067\TestCertificate in the qdl folder.

If Windows wont pick up the driver then you have to choose the 2nd option which is ill install the driver myself and point it to the folder.

FYI I finally got my phone fixed by using the QDL tool. My issue was caused by the USB port somehow. Device WAS recognized but it only worked after switching to a usb port on the front of my computer

I installed the test certificate and I have windows 7 64b. I cannot stop windows 7 to install its own drivers on the qualcoom device. I even used gpedit.msc but everytime I connect the streak it installed to usb input drivers
