No Sound

Just the past few days i noticed i had missed a lot of calls, i therefore called my mobile from landline and mobile only vibrated although sound/ringtone levels were set at max

I have checked settings several times and all volume settings are not muted and set at high

Im running MoDaCo Custom ROM for Orange San fransisco r4, 2.1-update1

very puzzled by this

Update: Still no sound, i have plugged in headphones and they work ;)

I have upgraded to froyo2.2. and still same, no sound but sound works through headphones

think it might be the phone itself? any ideas?

gah, looks like ill have to put orange rom back on and take back to store :):(:(

Do you get a hiss/white noise when you listen through the headphones?

Have you tried a factory reset.

I know its a big step, but if your considering returning it to stock - its probably worth a go.

Nope dont get a hiss/white noise. ALso tried factory reset etc / reset back to orange stock rom etc, still no joy :)

Deffo a hardware problem me thinks! :)

Beleive it or not, i got the sound back and working

I dropped it, well i actually threw it in frustration, a few minutes later i got a text with sound! lololol
