I900 Rom Issue-----[Resolved]

Hi,

Not sure if I'm being completely thick or anything because I have downloaded many of Yonn and Ock's roms before, but when I tried to flash the rom released today the following thing came up...

PDA Device Found!

Don't plug it out until the label becomes blue!!!

cFile.Open Failed

Then my phone freezes and I have to remove and put the battery back in to be able to restart my phone....any ideas?

NOTE: I WAS ABLE TO INSTALL THE ROM USING GRANDPRIX, SO I CAN USE THAT NOW AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE SAMSUNG INSTALLER I WAS PREVIOUSLY USING.

Is this the DXID1 rom? If it is then I can't as I get the same cFile.Open Failed message

Nobody have any ideas then?

Just in case anyone suggests this I have tried resetting and trying again, tried a hard reset, tried deselecting the usb connection in Activesync (someone suggested it)

It did not work as I've said before? Weird, I always do well and installs normally.

But ... try to install another phone.bin, maybe that.

But look harder to choose the best. Best-Radio-Phone

Tried one of the roms from your phone.bin collection and recieved the same cFile.Open Failed message...not sure why roms dont work now when I've had no problems the past 6 months doing them.

Unfortunately we do not know how else to help you. Maybe someone with more experience can help you.

Sorry I am a bit confused about what you mean when you say "is selected GrandPrix LV image?". Probably being thick here...

It stays on the screen, right at the top, see if you are (GrandPrix LV image) selected.

There we go....I have never used GrandPrix before only the Samsung installer which is why you confused me when you mentioned the image being selected. Have downloade GrandPrix, tried it wit the latest yonn rom that I wanted and it seems to have worked without any problems (installed an hour ago, no problems as of yet)

Thank you very much for the help mureta, and in the end you solved my problem by sheer coincidence that I got confused and researched what you were asking.

That's right, I was researching the problem on several days because I've had many doubts before cooking and no one was interested ... but let it out.
