Guest That-Guy Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 OK so I thought I would give Wireless Tethering a try with my San Francisco. I downloaded "Android WiFi Tether" from here: http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/ There are only two requirements which are: - Device must be Rooted (mine is) - A custom-kernel which supports netfilter (iptables) What does the second requirement mean? and is it possible to get Sebastian404's R6 rom working with it? Thanks in Advance ;)
Guest SWOriginal Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Search the market for barnicle wifi teather, or upgrade to froyo alpha which has the feature built in

Guest That-Guy Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) Search the market for barnicle wifi teather, or upgrade to froyo alpha which has the feature built in My device is Rooted but coming up with "su: Access Denied" guess I will need to try and re-root the phone first.
