Guest castab Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 I would like to perform a nandroid backup of my Vega, but I'm not sure if I can install ClockworkMod Recovery just yet, could someone advise if this is possible? I've installed ROM Manager from the market but I dont want to Flash the CWM Recovery for fear of bricking my machine and loosing all of my config before I have chance to nandroid backup. Please advise.

Guest castab Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Check the pinned topics at the top of this forum. (the answer is yes, but possible not using ROM Manager) I did that, but it wasn't clear as to whether it was ready for the ROM Manager or not.
Guest TylerDurdenK Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Well the last reply from Paul says that ROM Manager will not flash the recovery properly. I have done it manually and it wasn't too difficult.
Guest castab Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Cheers Tyler, if I do it manually, I wont loose any of my current data will I? It'll only flash the recovery partition, yes?
Guest castab Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Ok, I did it manually and it worked fine, now have nandroid backup running. Cheers
