stuck on LG screen

hi all, at first, very sorry for my English

i have LG GT540 and i tried to upgrade it to 2.1 adroid . i followed the giude, it turned the screen in blue(emergency mode)then , it restart , and again become blue. i wait about 20 minutes but nothing happened . the KDZ stucked too. i unplugged the mobile, i turned on the mobile again and stuck on LG screen. . i tryied to open it in recovery mode (volume down+ power on button) but opens in downloaad mode. is there any other method to go into recovery mode ? what can i do? please if anyone can help me
