Spare Power Supply

I would like to get a spare power supply for the Vega, to keep at work.

It seems that I should be able to get one from ebay, from Hong Kong, for less than a fiver. The only problem is knowing exactly what the connector is that I need.

This one, for example, looks good, 12 Volts, 1A output, centre positive, but the connector is described as

"DC Plus Dimension: 5.5mm * 2.1mm "

Will that fit? I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Any pointers?

I would get a ruler and measure it. What I do is get a universal adapter kit and find the right size and then just look up what it is on the back of the box if I need to buy another or just use the adapter with a USB charger for most things. Haven't tried this with the Vega yet but it should work as long as the output on my adapter is set right.

I could, but .... I already have a multi-voltage power supply with multiple adapters. None of them fit - there's one that is the right length and diameter, but the hole in the middle is to thin for the Vega's pin, so it won't fit. There's obviously more to it than just length and width. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me exactly what to specify.

It uses a slightly odd pin shape from what I can notice. After reading this I tried the vega charger with my reader which uses what appears the same socket but the internal pin on the Vega is not standard I think. I've seen it before though I am going to rummage my big box o' power supplies soon see if I can find another that will fit.
