Broke my Gmail sync

I tried to send an e-mail using the Gmail app, a rather large one with a 44MB attachment. But it couldn't be sent (maybe bad wi-fi reception or it just coudn't handle it). So now I can't sync my Gmail anymore. When I open the app there is an error message saying "No ronnection" andd a retry button. So now I can't sync anytning using with this account. I have another account and it syncs fine on the same phone. So i am sure it was that e-mail that I tried to send.

So what are my options? If i copy the gmail apk from the system/app folder and install it again will it work? I really don;t want to do a factory reset at this time

Here is an Idea. try accessing your Email account using your PC and try to sort it through there.

Thank you. I did. Nothing happened. So I just moved on to the froyo release. Now I have Gmail...but no calendar ;)

Calender works fine using the A3 Froyo
