Guest RyDeRgr Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Hello to the community ,,, Dimitris from Greece here. Soon I will buy the SF for my brother. Now he's got a Nokia 5530 and he wants of course to transfer the contacts (which they're stored on the phone) to the ZTE. The Nokia software can sync the contacts to the Windows Contacts from Windows 7. Can ZTE's sync app to "pull" the contacts from the windows' directory or something? I have done this before to tranfer his contacts to my iPhone.... 5530 > Nokia App > Windows Contacts > iTunes > iPhone. Thanks a lot.

You can use Googles calendar sync app to sync Outlook on his Pc with his google calendar which in turn syncs with the phone.

This is how i did it: exported my contacts with nokia software from my pc and (to cvs i think) and opend gmail webpage and imported contacts to there. From SF i just synced my contacts from gmail ;)
Guest oh!dougal Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 The easy (and cool) way is with Bluetooth. No extra software required on either phone. Only thing that was dropped was the Groups - all the other stuff was transferred just fine. I learned about the technique here http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1428898 Is it hard to find that info with Search?
