DiX on SF

Hi,

Anyone tried divx players on the SF?, i have tried 'rockplayer' wont let me select 'hardware decode'???

It will let me select 'software decode', initially the sounds lags and video but pausing it, it then seems to run okay with very slight lag sometimes.

Anyone tried any player or tried rockplayer and got it run better?

You can only 'hardware decode' formats which the default player supports I think. Both methods work fine for me, though I haven't used it extensively.

Try Vplayer, supports far more file formats.

Doesnt show up for people on the 2.1 ROMS - seems to be a 2.2 thing only according to google.

Does Vplayer work on SF?

I tried it and it doesnt install, probably because it needs Neon support (and the SF doesnt have that?)

I use yxplayer for avi's, the quality is a bit worse than rockplayer, but the framerate is stable (rockplayer has slight framerate drops every couple of seconds).

Are there any better options out there for avi playback?
