Guest Winston69 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Well i'd guess you possibly have one with a TFT screen, what country you in? Download [ROM][eclair] Customised BladeVillain 1.1.0 RLS2 (3/Dec) and wipe everything before you flash it in clockwork, system, boot etc in advanced i think it is Runs fine on my TFT blade

Guest Winston69 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 There'a lot of information about TFT Vs OLED on here at the moment as these newer TFT models are just surfacing it seems I got a white one on Friday which turns out are TFT's and suffered the same problems TFT will have washed out blacks in comparision but hard to compare if you haven't had/got a OLED device to look at ;) I'd install the BladeVillain1.1.0 after wiping everything using clockwork, wipe boot, system etc in advanced settings then flash the ROM Link : http://www.villainrom.co.uk/kendon/blade/B...1.0-release.zip
Guest Winston69 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 ok, update, the original orange software is back on, but it still boots with blue android, blur orange logo etc... how can I remove the root that I applied?? I think it's the superboot that does it... Wipe boot and try to install the rom i just linked you to

Guest Winston69 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 I believe that some ROM's will write to the BOOT, as I said above you can wipe BOOT in clockworkmod I think? Then install the bladevillian ROM which will install a BOOT image, as far as I know that is correct.. It worked for me When the ROM is installing you will see it installs to BOOT

Guest StevenHarperUK Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 ok, i've tried the blade villian one, erased everything i could find to erase... still blue man, still no screen working after putting it to sleep... The only true tft safe Rom is the stock R08. But this is only confirmed to fix white tft devices You could try it http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...p729bv1-0-0b08/ bit just do the first Link in that thread What we really need is a backup of the grey tft rom
Guest Pierreism Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 my problem at the moment is that when i boot, android logo turns blue, as does the orange logo... in fact, everything has a blue tint to it, and i sitll have the power button/no unlock problem. The original rooting caused that problem and i need to reverse it, i no longer want modified firmware! through searching, the person in this thread: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...logo-green-man/ said that it returned to normal after awhile. Go figure. Try a power cycle.

Guest El Nino9 Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 No that different. We need a Stock ROM of the new gray tft for people to use to revert to. i couldn't help myself and have bought another blade for £80 inc £10 top up from e2save on the weekend. i will go into fastboot and flash the custom recovery and create a nandroid of that device. so it should be a clean dump. (wish i could dump the radio file too and the original recovery. might try flashrec for the original recovery back up ;) further more i will test to see if its tft or oled (the damn fone is not amoled ppl) if its tft i will upload it :P

Guest StevenHarperUK Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 (edited) nice one! I tried the 08 version without success but could give it another go... Please do. Other users have reported it to work. Also. Any ROMS based on the Hungarian Rom have been known to work Edited December 6, 2010 by StevenHarperUK
