Sim Network Unlock Pin!!!!help!!!!!

can some one help or advise?

i was downgraded htc desire HBOOT 0.93 to 0.83.0001 in order to flash it for a custom ROM. My htc desire was locked after downgraded to HBOOT 0.83.0001.

current firmware version is 2.1 update1

baseband version is 32.41.00.32u_4.08.00.09

kernel version is 2.6.29-0cb9f166

build number is 1.21.405.2 CL174215 release-keys

software number is 1.21.405.2

browser version is WebKit 3.1

HBOOT -0.83.0001

RADIO-4.08.00.09

You don't have to downgrade in order to flash your phone. Use unrevoked (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=unrevoked) and it should flash any hboot version.

thank for ur reply. i did downgraded the HBOOT to 0.83.0001, after that my phone was require Sim Network Unolock Pin. i tried other sim cards, the phone just pop up the same message for pin request. Any solution to fix the unlock pin in my htc desire? i have been read thru some topic about this issue, some say need to downgrade radio of the phone in order the unlock the pin. do u know any link to do that? i would be very appreciate it

You don't downgrade the radio just to get the unlock pin. If you're wanting to stay on the same network and just root your phone, all you need to do is use Unrevoked and it will worked with ANY HBOOT.

If you're wanting an "Unlock Pin" for the Desire, I suggest you have a look at the site recommended on this forum.. www.htccode.com. You've got to pay for that service, but after that you can flash any radio and you won't get locked.

Or you can contact your Network Provider and ask if they can give you an unlock code for the Desire which you have, they might do it for free, or do it for a charge, just depends what network you're on I suppose.

I just noticed that you wanted to root your phone to unlock it. That doesn't work on Desires so you'll have to buy an unlock code in order to use another SIM.

No method of rooting, s-offing or anything else for that mater will help you.
