i'm sure i have done all this right then im flashing the new rom it says

Whoa what stage are you at here?

Did you install clockwork recovery? Have you downloaded the latest rom? Has your Blade got an OLED of TFT screen (Is it brand new of several months old)

Use the 2.5.0.9 CWM recovery, not the 2.5.1.3! This last one is buggy!

Flash the recovery again but use 2.5.1.3 instead

i recieved it saturday and how would i find out which screen it has? im in the uk so would it not be oled? and i shall try that now thanks ;)

fonix232 is correct, I had exactly the same problem and this fixed it

Won't necessarily be OLED, look at the startup screen in the dark, is it dark black (OLED) or can you see the glow of the backlight (TFT)?
