Guest JingleManSweep Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Yesterday morning my Blade stopped connecting to Google Talk. Upon further investigation, it appears I had no 3G access. I haven't changed the TMobile APN, and I have the 3G icon in the notification area. I was running FLB-Froyo for ages without issue. I flashed Pauls new Chinese Froyo build last night, and the same problem. If I set the phone to use 2G networks only, all my apps connect again. Any ideas? Broken hardware? Wifi works fine.
Guest Lew247 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) tried another phone? Mobile networks do sometimes have problems with cell sites breaking and going off air I had the nice job of being called to remote fields up to 300 miles away in the middle of the night to fix them at times when they broke and it can take may hours before they get fixed at times. I'm not saying it is the network, but always worth checking before blaming the phone try switching it to gsm only to see if that works Edited December 7, 2010 by Lew247

Will check connectivity there today. 2G works fine, so could be 3G transmitter in Ipswich. Thanks.
