Guest NexusX Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Wanted to let you know that the GingerbreadLatinIME works fine on our Blades. (Using Froyo) See the link: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-app...redictions.html I needed to do the workaround to get the keyboard in right density. (Install - boot - Density to 300 - reboot - 260 - reboot - 240 - YEAH)
Guest NexusX Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Which froyo release? MoDaCo Custom Froyo Alpha 3 Edited December 7, 2010 by NexusX
Guest Andy Maclean Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Works a treat. It's a lot faster then the HTC IME and has pretty much the same features.
Guest AndyHibberd Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I've running it now on Paul's alpha4 release. Multitouch is not supported?
Guest cobhc Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I've running it now on Paul's alpha4 release. Multitouch is not supported? Nah, and I'm sure I heard that Multitouch isn't working on the N1 either.
Guest AndyHibberd Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 It reverts back to tiny mode after proper restart! Not cool.... Please let me know if this gets a proper usable release.
Guest neologan Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hopefully Paul will consider putting this in his froyo rom if it works perfectly at some point ;)
Guest Rusty! Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Anyone tried to copy and paste yet?
Guest AndyHibberd Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I think c/p is a UI feature not keyboard.
Guest Rusty! Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 My point is that if you try, it will FC ;)
Guest Rusty! Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Wish I hadn't said that now, mine's C&Ping fine all of a sudden.
Guest Dark Man X Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 is there a version which i dont have to do the workaround? i dont know how to do it... ;) are there all languages supportet?
Guest NexusX Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 is there a version which i dont have to do the workaround? i dont know how to do it... ;) Even better question: Is there a version which i dont have to do the workaround on EVERY full reboot? Any suggestions for a permanent fix?
Guest goatee Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Even better question: Is there a version which i dont have to do the workaround on EVERY full reboot? Any suggestions for a permanent fix? bumping, just because it looks like a lovely keyboard, but I can't do with the faff every reboot.
Guest Andy Maclean Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Even better question: Is there a version which i dont have to do the workaround on EVERY full reboot? Any suggestions for a permanent fix? Don't know if there is a permanent fix but you don't have to reboot 3 times if that helps. Just loading up LCD Density and hitting reboot (defaults to 240) does the trick for me.
