Screen Freeze and Dots(.) on the screen

Hello All,

Thanks for all the information and valuable discussion around the forum.

I got this San Francisco phone from Orange and currently running flb-froyo-blade-r3a-lite firmware on it.

The problem I'm facing is my screen got froze very randomly more than a couple of times in a day, sometime while using and another time when its been sitting idle for hours.

Another thing I notice is when the screen is switched off (using the top botton) I can see shinning dots only at certain angles placed at equal distance like square dot paper -

Can someone suggest comment on this situation.

The dots are the touchscreen matrix. They are used to "feel" where your fingers touch the screen.
